HEALTH INSURANCE

Employee benefits may be provided on an untaxed basis only to "dependents." The IRS does not recognize domestic partners as dependents. All full time and part time employees are eligible after the 4-month waiting period. Benefits are prorated according to hr/wk.
DENTAL INSURANCE
Guardian Dental

LIFE INSURANCE
All full-time and part-time employees are eligible after the 4-month waiting period at no cost to the employee.
ACCIDENTAL DEATH & DISMEMBERMENT INSURANCE
All full-time and part-time employees are eligible after the 4-month waiting period at no cost to the employee.
PAID LEAVE TIME
All full-time and part-time employees are eligible for paid leave time. Leave time is "Pooled Leave Time" which is all vacation, sick, and holiday time pooled together. This time is granted to the employee at the beginning of each fiscal year.
Hourly Employees are eligible for buyout up to 40 hours of unused leave time if employed for 12 months before the end of the fiscal year and still employed at the time of buyout. Part-time employees buyout is prorated.
Salaried Employees are not eligible for buyback but may rollover up to 40 hours of unused leave time into the next fiscal year if employed for 12 months at the end of the fiscal year. Part-time employees" rollover is prorated.
In the first 6 months of employment, new employees may not take more than 80 hours of leave time.
- 1st year of employment - 30 days per year
- 2nd to 4th year - 35 days per year
- 5th year or more - 40 days per year
